CoreKin
CoreKin are humanoid constructs composed of light around a magical core.

Physical Description
A corekin only truly exist as their core. The core is a magical gem that contains the soul of the corekin and is where all thinking and feeling happen. They come in many different varieties of stones and colors with the only similarly being that they are of a shape and size large enough to hold the magical binding. (Usually worth at least 300g)

To interact with the world around them, corekin require a physical form that is generally recognized as their body. The physical form is a conscious projection of hardened light produced from their core. Though their skin can range in color from clearly artificial to that of an ordinary individual the hair always remains a vibrant color that matches the glow of their core.

Their physical form varies greatly from one to another as they manifesting as a monochromatic reflection of how they mentally see themselves. Therefore it is heavily dependent upon the few memories that they bring with them from their past life and can result in their form can slowly drift through the years.

In essence corekin have the shape of their previous life though are always of medium size. Their coloration matches their core at the center of their being. Their light forms can manifest with basic clothing but upon removal it turns back into light.

History
Their origin is in a partially unknown sect that found a way to seal the soul of a foreign body in a solid gem that would later become known as cores. Originally the cores were intended to be a power source however after the creators found this impossible they were discarded. Left unattended the magic binding the souls decayed. And from these decayed cores a new race was born, forming physical bodies practically out of air, light, and a little seeping magic.

The original cores had only faint memories of a past life, but they moved forwards dubbing themselves corekin. Originally they developed a small settlement but they had the desire to grow. After years of only being the original few they discovered that new cores could be produced.

Producing a new core is a draining process for a corekin to recover from. By consuming a large gem it becomes a part of their physical form. The close contact with their core allows the gem to takes on a semblance of the cores magic eventually forming into a second empty core that can be removed from the corekin. Though they are still empty vessels, it has been found that these empty cores can be filled with resurrection or soul imprisonment magic, but the most common way to complete a core is time. With time a free soul will find their way to the core energizing it and finally bringing a new corekin to life.

With a growing population the corekin saw their settlements evolve and flourish as an independent race, populating quiet areas such as forests. Due to their varying forms it didn’t take long before they began to trade and intermingle with the other races of the world. Now they can also be found in the hustle and bustle of many diverse cities resembling every race under the sun but are always identifiable by their vibrant coloration and glowing gem at the center of their being.

Society
Because corekin come into existence with memories of a past life, it creates an interesting society. CoreKin society doesn’t have a child hood so much as they have an adjustment period. While there is the occasional young soul, most already have a decent understanding of the world. What is taught to new individuals is what it means to be a corekin and how this life differs from previous lives.

Once corekin learn to take care of their new body most want to know who they are and where they come from. They often leave to return to cities that they might have been familiar with. Years spent in other societies help greatly with the transition, but it also proves to individuals that they have changed. Seeing generations of individuals pass without feeling the gravity of time causes them to long for other corekin.

As a result of circumstances corekin towns tend to be made of the very new and the very experienced individuals. With the eldest being the leaders and regarded of the wisest. As towns grows they amass knowledge from across many societies and become centers of learning and knowledge. The leaders of these small societies are always concerned not to aggrandize its population too much in each area to avoid problems.

|alignment= CoreKin’s alignments are as varied as the as all the souls in the world. The best and the worst are found among them.
|size= Regardless of the corekin’s racial appearance they have a height no larger than 5 foot. Your size is Medium
|speed= Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
|trait1= Core Construct
|description1= You are a construct. As such you are immune to the poisoned, sleep, paralysis, and disease effects. You do not need to breathe, eat, and sleep during times of light activity. After times of strenuous activity —at least 4 hour of walking, fighting, casting spells, or similar adventuring activity— your core will feel tired and you will desire food and sleep to regenerate your magical energy that sustains you. Though you could go for several days, you need 4 hours of sleep to be fully rested.
|trait2=Core Metabolism
|description2= Your core is able to absorb magic from natural and magical sources. Even though you are a construct you are still able to benefit from healing spells and potion effects though with some altered results. Your core breaks magical consumables down into their magical essence. As such you cannot gain the magical effects from potions, but instead they are treated as healing potions of a similar price/rarity and restore an equivalent amount of hit points.
|trait3= Core Retreat
|description3=You are while in the area of an .
If targeted by , you must succeed on a saving throw against the caster's spell save DC or fall for 1 minute.
|description5= A corekin’s core cannot be physically damaged as long as their body exist, however the magic within a core can.
On a failure the magic binding the soul is dispelled, and the core becomes an inert gem. Dormant cores make this save at disadvantage.
A dormant core can be also be damaged by physical attacks. They have an armor class of 12 and 5 hit points.

Hiya, I'm Meep!

I have recently devoted myself to learning absolutely everything about dnd 5e.. and so far I have a pretty good knowledge base but it's a WIP.
As such, I am very comfortable working and reworking anything within that version and I do so on a regular frequency.
I follow the recent changes to all 5e Feats and 5e Spells quite closely, so you will see Meep popping up their quite often.

Eventually I will make work through all the existing ones just looking (occasionally adjusting) but that's a mighty steep challenge. I have noticed that there are many overlapping feats and would also like to make them unique or condense them.

Lot's more to come but I hate words about myself

Biggest project so far has been the 5e Races Page

I'm still working on my first race (5e Race)

I need to come up with something elegant for 5e Feats

and I just keep checking new submissions to 5e Spells

You animate a nonliving rope-like object, such as string, yarn, cord, line, rope, or cable of up to 50 ft or a maximum of 10lbs.

You may give your rope simple movement and shaping instructions, such as: "Move one end up 30 ft in a vertical line, loop over that branch twice, and knot yourself."
The rope itself does not deal damage, but can be used as a trip line, or noose-like object.
If the rope is used to restrain a creature, you may attempt a special grapple.

Make a spell attack contested by the target’s (Athletics) or (Acrobatics) check (the target chooses the ability to use). If you succeed, you subject the target to the condition.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell's duration increases by 1 round for each slot level above 1st.

Born within the mystical boundaries of the , drakiin inherit most of their most appearance from their eladrin parent while their draconic features come in the form of scales and horns. Their horns will typically grow upward with slight curvature towards the centers. Their scales appear in linear patches along their arms, thighs, and face with intermittent patches on the back. Tattoo-like markings start at their upper arms and swirl up to the forehead forming a crescent shape. Drakiin are slender and graceful with the males boasting a slightly more muscular frame than the females as well as being taller. They are born without permanent wings and tails due to them being able to sprout and dismiss them magically as they mature. Unlike their dragon parents drakiin seem to fall short in the brute strength department but make up the difference with their arcane skill and agileness.

History
The eladrin, during their visits to , were trying to find a way to prevent tragedies such as the Time of Troubles and the Spellplague. Or at least a way to sense similar events prior to the climax of them. As they pondered they realized that they would need a highly sensitive being that could sense even the slightest change in the flow of magics around them on a greater scale unlike their own species. Against their nature a few eladrin sought the help of the metallic dragons (because the chromatic dragons tend to prey on elves, especially the green dragons) due to their attunement to the flow of magic. Though the dragons were willing to help they could not devote any time monitoring the flow of magic around them and fight the war against chromatic dragons at the same time. The dragons then made a proposal: A dragon from each metallic subtype would grant their magic essence to an eladrin mother carrying an unborn child to create a highly empathic creature that could serve the eladrin’s purposes. In exchange once the child reached maturity, it would leave the and be further trained by the draconic parent to fight against Tiamat and her followers in the Dragonfall war. The eladrin agreed and upon their next visit sent a select few eladrin mothers to receive the blessings of the dragons. They would return to the and birth the child in areas where the magic was the most concentrated. The resulting offspring would become known as the drakiin.

Society
Being so few, drakiin do not have a society of their own. They will typically adopt the culture of the eladrin due to them being introduced to it first before learning of their draconic heritage. They grow quickly reaching the maturity of a 10-year-old human around the age of 5 and physical maturity at the age of 20. During their time in the young drakiin are introduced and trained in everything related to magic and swordplay. Once near physical maturity drakiin are turned over to their draconic parent they are taught to harness their innate draconic powers in the form of their wings, breath and a transformation. Afterwards a drakiin will be sent off into the world as adventurers to carry out the duties assigned to them by their parents and further their own development. They are expected to be devote fighters and overseers for their parents' causes.

Drakiin Names
Drakiin names are typically one or two syllables

Male: Adrik, Fafnir, Venic, Illir, Enqu, Ran

Female: Ura, Ieas, Ceri, Rutha, Xana, Lyre
Physical Description

They are more slender and beautiful with pale, often with an icy blue hue. Hair colors include black, blue, or silvery white. Moon elf eyes, like those of other elves, are very commonly green, although some are other colors. All moon elves have golden flecks speckled through their iris. While the Sun elves are haughty, the moon elves choose to be more modest and accepting towards others. Choosing this subrace will cause the markings on your body to turn a pale sapphire blue when the moon is full.

Star Elves
Known as the Ruar-tel-quessir, they are high elves that were once secluded to Sildëyuir until it rejoined the FeyWild. Similar to the moon elves, the star elves also sported a pale complexion but with gold, red, or silver hair and violet or grey eyes. Known for being aloof and cautious of other races due to their amount of time separate for the continent. Choosing this subrace will cause the markings on your body to turn a deep at night with shimmering star-like specs.
Draconic Roar
Prerequisite: Drakiin

You choose to roar loudly by expending a use of your breath weapon. If the frightened target takes any damage, it can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Feathered Wings
Prerequisite: Drakiin, level 5th

Your eladrin heritage combined with your draconic blood allows you to magically sprout feathered wings from your back at will. You gain a flying speed of 30ft. You cannot fly if:
Mage Hunter
Mage hunters are fighters, who were trained to engage any sort of magic user. While a Mage Hunter might not be able to win a one on one fight against a barbarian or a fighter he will most certainly defeat a wizard or a sorcerer, even though the magic users power and level are above his.

;Quick Build
You can make a mage hunter quickly by following these suggestions. First, should be your highest ability score( if you want to take the spellstopper mage hunter's school), followed by . Second, choose the mage hunter background.
Mage Hunter's School
Starting at 1st level you choose a school from which you graduated, and where you learned your craft. Choose either the Assassin, the Spellstopper or the Reflector mage hunter school.

Ability Score Increase
When you reach 4th level, and again at 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

Arcane Sense
Starting at 2nd level you can sense the magical energy on a person if this person has evel cast a spell before. You can roll an arcana check to find out if a person has ever cast a spell in their life

When you reach 5th level your improved senses even are able to deistinguish between recently used spells, and spells which have been used long ago, you can somewhat tell when they cast their last spell.
(If the last time they have cast a spell was 1 day or less ago the accuracy of when they cast a spell is the time +1d6-3 hours, if they cast a spell a month or less ago it's +1d6-3 days, a year +1d6-1, if it's over a month ago you can only tell it's been over a month)

Offensive Dash
Starting at 6th level once per fight, only when running towards a spellcaster, you can multiply your walking speed by four when taking the dash action instead of just doubling it.

Assassin
Mage hunters that specialized in assasination try to sneak close to mages they need to take out, and kill them before they can actually start casting their spells.

;Element of Surprise
Starting at 1st level you gain proficiency in stealth, if you already have proficiency in stealth you proficiency bonus on stealth checks is doubled. Whenever you surprise a mage, he cannot cast a spell that isn't a cantrip in the first round after his surprise ended, if the spells level is higher than half your mage hunter level he can still cast that spell.

At 7th level mages also can't cast cantrips in the round after you surprised them.

;Ambush positioning
Starting at 3rd level you gain half your walking speed as climbing and swimming speed.

This feature is improved at 9th level to having your full walking speed as climbing and swimming speed.

;
<!-Class feature game rule information->

Spellstopper
Spellstoppers are heavily armoured fighters, who learn how to resist and block spells. Spellstoppers more often than not are team players, since their offensive capabilities against spellcasters aren't high enough to take them one alone, they can only show their full potential in groups, in which they can block spells, and even absorb spells meant to hit someone else.

;Heavily Armored
Starting at 1st level you have proficiency with medium and heavy armor. Your saving throws proficiencies now are , and .

;Extreme resilience
Starting at 1st level you can decide to halve the damage of a spell that deals damage to you. This feature can only be used once, and replenishes after a long rest.

At 7th level you can use this feature twice instead of once before needing a long rest to replenish your uses of this feature.

;Catch a spell
Starting at 3rd level, if you haven't used your movement yet in this round of combat you can use your reaction to run towards a person that is targeted by a spell, as long as the person is in range of double your walking speed. Instead you are the target of the spell, the spell is treated as if you've been it's target from the beginning, however you automatically fail saves, as you want to block the spell, and cannot dodge it.

This feature is improved at 9th level, and you can save a person not only if they are the target of a spell, but you can also save them from a spell that deals area damage.

;
<!-Class feature game rule information->

Reflector
Reflectors are fighters with the ability to absorb and reflect incoming spells, and even use their abilities to reflect spells that hit other party memebers.

;Counterattack
Starting at 1st level after you've been hit by a spell that specifically targeted you, you can use your action to copy the spell that hit you, and use it agains the spellcaster that hit you. The damage you deal is halved, and you can only copy spells that are of a level that's equal, or less than half your levels in the mage hunter class. Your spellsave DC is 8 + , your spell attack is .

At 7th level you can add your proficiency bonus on your spellsave DC and spell attack.

;Spell Absorption
Starting at 3rd level when you get hit by a spell that requires a save you don't take any damage if you succeed at it, if you fail the save you still take full damage.

This feature is improved at 9th level, whenever you succeed at a saving throw you also are healed by half the damage it would do to you for up to three times, these three uses are restored after a long rest.

Physical Description
The Orristaten are a grey skinned race of the northern Taigas. Their skin tones can range from black to light red-grey. Their hands and digitigrade feet have four digits each.
Their unique faces have seven possible locations for their eyes, the normal sites, just above and below and in the middle of their foreheads. They can have any number of eyes
in any combination of theses sites and the rest of the sites act as heat pits. However the vast majority of Orristaten wear all concealing cloaks. These cloaks are made and maintained by the orristaten in question and are heavily and ritually personalized. The cloaks will have their family, their city, their station, and may have any great deeds they may have done.
History
As a race, Orristaten are typically a quiet people fond of commerce and the function of their cities. However they have an unfortunate practice that when one gets the
ambition for an empire the whole city gets on it and then its out to conquer the neighbors. The resulting empire, incorporating other Orristaten cities and other species towns, is usually short lived. These empires rarely have a precedence for succession and one built on one individual's dream can rarely stand against a serious counterattack. If not for the Orristaten well defended cities, these counterattacks would have destroyed their people long ago.

It is not known where the Orristaten people come from. Some assume their desire for yet inability to keep an empire means they come from some long ago warlords plan for the ideal servant that grew beyond its purpose.

Society
The Orristaten society is one built on people working to build a city. Their cities in the taigas are created as a giant ring, with the center being dug out to build the large outer wall. Orristaten society is split into several castes and then the caste-less. The castes are merely individuals that when young chose or were chosen to receive special training related to what the city believes needs more workers. The castes then receive preferential treatment for as long as their training remains relevant to the needs of the city. Their odd mannerisms and the controlled nature of their society leave many visitors alienated but their high quality goods and services draw them in any way.

The Orristaten place special interest in Ambition and believe one should be able to work towards it if possible. Ambition is serious business in Orristaten cities and the city will help individuals achieve their ambition.

Orristaten Names
Orristaten Names are usually short phrases with a single word being the common use name. Orristaten believe that a name must be literally made and family members
will go out on a quest to make one if one is not on hand when a child is expected.

Longform: Alder on the far Hill, A Long March to the West, Utopia of the Mind

Shortform: Alder, Knife, Utopia, Throne, West, Ash, Watch, Brightly, Company, Matchwork, Major, Regard.
Upon lack of reply and further dissatisfaction with seeing the large banner across what are to be the best pages
we have to offer. I propose yet another even smaller form of the banner for consideration, this time with the text visible upon being moused over. Mark target. The nightmare can mark its targets with a supernatural bond that allows it to allways know where its targets are. It can mark as many targets as it wants. To mark a target it has to use an action to touch a creature cursing it with the bond.

Marked teleportation. The Nightmare can freely teleport to and within 300 feet of any marked targets once per turn as a free action. This teleportation works even across planes or from the other side of the world.

Nightmareish visage. Any creature that looks directly at the creature must make a DC wisdom saving throw of 15 to not be scared for 1 turn as it sees its own worst nightmare. Anyone can simply choose to not look at the nightmare but will be effectivily blinded to it.

Shadow invisibility. The Nightmare can choose to be completely invisible as a free action while in darkness.

Insubstantial existance. As the nigthmare is something from beyond the bonds of reality it isnt really there. As such any damage and conditions it takes is removed after 4 turns of not taking any damage or status ailment.

Shadow existance. The Nightmare is a creature of darkness and can not exist in areas of bright natural light. If it ever enters an area of bright light in will simply cease to exist while the same area is still in bright light. When the area returns to darkness or dim light the nightmare will re emerge in the same spot. This only happens to the nightmare with natural light. If it enters an area of magical light in has sunlight sensitivity and will have disadvantage on attack roll and perseption checks made to see or target creatures in the light.
(recharge 4-5 turns) The nightmare forces everyone within 60 feet of it to make a wisom saving throw of 25 or become paralysed with fear as it is shown horrors from beyond the real world. This ability negates immunity to fear. The creatures affected can make a new saving throw at the end of its turns to end the effect.
|description=The nightmare

The nightmare is an existance that should never have existed. It is a creature from beyond what is considered reality. From an area beyond even the great void where the great old ones dwell.

Some have theorised that the creature was born into existance from an event that tore the very fabric of reality. Others think it might have come from a dream realm of some kind. The only thing people can agree on is that it isn't natural in it's origin and that its existance is unique.

Despite all the stories of this creature it is rarely seen. And when someone comes forth saying that they saw it it is usualy followed by those individual disapearing. Never to be seen again. Only a few brave heroes are known to have faced it and survived. These heroes usualy end up secluded, afraid of their own shadow. They take sleeping with your lights on to a whole new level.

The nigthmare is a creature that likes to toy with its pray. it will first mark it making it immpossible to escape from it. It will then chase it around driving it crasy and exhausted from lack of sleep. It will attack when its prey is weak and almost dead by draining its remaining energy. This energy is whats sustains it, but it doesn't need to feed more than once a century.
