Verians[edit]

Personality[edit]

Verians tend to be a carefree race. Most Verian children learn some combat style or another, whether it be archery, or swordsmanship. Females tend to dominate the race, but a single male tends to hold the position of highest authority. Bath houses are common in Verian culture, and at the very least they bath once every other day. They help each other out as much as they can and are a generally accepting race.

They like to build fancy structures and their work is admired even by the ever-advancing humans. They flaunt their skills in combat against other races and amongst themselves to see who is better. Females typically are stronger and they are more respected in the race than other races. Thus when traveling in other lands they are cocky.

Guys tend to be more docile, and women play the typical role that a male would in human culture. All of the Verians, however, respect the elected emperor. What the emperor says, goes, unless the council decides to send a hitman, which rarely happens.

Physical Description[edit]

Females: They exist right around five and three quarters feet, give or take half a foot. They weigh somewhere in the mid to upper hundred pounds. Eye color is usually a light shade of blue, but can be dark blue, green, or even yellow. Their skin is always fair and they have pawed hands and feet, along with a tail. The fur on the paws and tail tends to be the same color as the hair. Hair color in Verian culture tends to shock people. They often do not have a "normal" hair color. It ranges from light to dark in shades of pink, blue, white, silver, black, and blonde.

Males: Males are usually shorter than females by about half a foot and being about five and a half feet give or take a few inches. However, males also tend to be more stocky, weighing around two hundred pounds. Other than that they are much like females.

Relations[edit]

Verians get along well with humans, elves, and halflings. They are not so close to dwarves, and gnomes but they do share culture and trade on occasion. Verians are not particularly fond of monster races such as kobolds, or goblins.

Alignment[edit]

Verians tend to be chaotic or lawful in alignment, not often being neutral. Evil is shunned in their society, and thus so, evil Verians are extrememly rare.

Lands[edit]

Verians live in all lands (except extreme conditions) comfortably, as they learn to adapt to environments well.

Religion[edit]

Verians tend to follow the idea that there is an overdiety to worship, and do not follow any of the gods that other cultures do. They have religeous ceremonies for marriage, monthly worship, food sacrifice, and before having a child.

Language[edit]

They speak Common and Verian. They may learn any language as a bonus language.

Names[edit]

In Verian culture, names are an important part of a person's life. Only priests or emperors can give a person his or her name. As they progress in life, they may have it changed by the local council. However, they tend to be similar to human names.
