Splits and things[edit]

Added that split to the transformation advent, re-did the order to get it logical for the pairs... still stewing on epic epicness... --Tinkx (talk) 13:18, 5 November 2019 (MST)

Somebody Check My Work Pls?[edit]

I did the WOT list below, and need to add some more advents, maybe break the big one into 2 (one for physical atributes and a bump up for SU abilities... any ideas for better balance would be nice? Should I open the gap on casting to every 3rd level? etc.?

Balance[edit]

I love the idea, and a 3.5 version is needed but the class is vastly over powered. Not only do you can faster than druid Wildshape abilities they are better, and you are treated like a level 20 at level 1? In Addition you gain spell casting? Why not throw in backstab and mounts. Just saying.

I agree. Drop the "Wildshape improvement", and then make two new advents for large and huge wildshapes, and drop the BAB progression to the same as a druid's (15/10/5) and I think you have a winner. You may even be able to get away with +1 to spellcasting every other level, I've not had time to check the balance on that. --Badger 18:16, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Working on This[edit]

Okay, so working on helping balance this, because I am trying to play it... that said:

-Got rid of the level 20 thing... it is OP and actually pointless.

-Looks like Wildshape improvement is gone??? not sure, any way... Clarified "Wildshape" for the stack up for a non-druid taking the class.

-left the BAB as is, loss of spells is a big hit, and the advents need some TLC to level them out (most are O to the OP as writen)

HELP-Nature Lord, makes no sense to me... can someone please explain "Any relevant DCs for those creatures change by -10 for creatures without an intelligence score, -5 for Constructs with no master, +15 for intelligent creatures, +30 for dragons, and +40 for Aberrations and Outsiders."

Is that the DC for for my spells? If so, backwards... or the DC that I need to beat for skills? It lacks detail for how this is used in the various conditions... it makes sense for Wild Empathy, but not for my DC for Charming a Dragon... shouldn't that still be harder?

-Put the size changes in order per the Druid progression and added pre-requirements that account for both version of Formless Druid (FD)

-removed "beast" as it is not a 3.5e monster type.

-reduced max number of types per advent to 2

-divided the "outsider type" as that is a huge catagory... that includes everything and the kitchen sink

-moved some pre-reqs around

-removed doppler of beings, too much potential to skip the need for any other advent if the character has a vivid back story. And gives that joke about having sneak attack true form... which is not the point... of druids... "*Doppler of the Beings: Able to change into any same size being or creature that you have been able to study for 1 hr. Would get the same specials abilities and attacks as would the creature or being you turned into."

-reduced the level req for Nature vs. Nurture to FD 5, the wisdom req will make it hard enough for most to never reach this.

-moved epic level abilities (like antimagic... what anti magic?) to epic level section. Which is in work peeps...

-added epic levels and campaign desc
