Protectors

The idea of creating a better warrior is by no means new. The process used to create the Aggressor was studied and applied to humans. Combining the Gargoyle with a less volatile race produced a less physically powerful, but more amiable creator. The Protector was designed to protect those who can not protect themselves. Much like there more violent cousins, they did not take kindly to being used as pawns, thus they set out seeking something important to them that they can protect. The process is no less dangerous to the volunteer as most of them still end up dead or insane.

Personality[edit]

It is still hard for the Protector to fight it's gargoyle like nature despite the less violent creature combined with the gargoyle. They are more generally intelligent and easier to talk to than the Aggressor, but are still of a self conscious and reclusive nature. They are strange creatures and thus receive much unwarranted and undeserved scorn and hatred. People find any excuse to exclude others and being half gargoyle makes one a much easier target. If someone threatens what the Protector cares about, they will be in for a nasty fight. They'll sometimes defend an innocent that is in danger on principle alone

Physical Description[edit]

The Protector is about the same height as the average human (Depending, of course, on the human used in the creation). They weigh a bit more because of their gargoyle traits. They have the same color eyes as when they were human. They have grayish skin, clawed hands, and large horns protruding from their heads. They have large wings sprouting from their backs.

Relations[edit]

The Protector feels an obligation to defend races weaker than it. Their protective nature can sometimes come off as suffocating, patronizing or condescending, but they generally mean well toward others.

Alignment[edit]

Usually good

Lands[edit]

The Protector prefers high dark places. Like the Aggressor, this could be due to a racial preference or self conscious attitude. It could also be that they want a bird's eye view of th situation and an advantageous position to ambush enemies.

Religion[edit]

Despite their good nature, they receive about as much hatred from many religions. If they do take up a religion, it will be that of a God that advocates protection of others.
