Fist of The Dragon[edit]

Warriors who seek to embody the power of a dragon, Fists of the Dragon learn from the very creatures they admire. They use their furious strength to shred their foes with brutal unarmed strikes, and savage draconic abilities. Warriors far and wide fear the power wielded by Fists of the Dragon. A yearly tournament measures the skills of many Fists of the Dragon, the most famous warriors to compete in these tournaments are often known by many across the lands.

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Fist of The Dragon class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The Fist of the Dragon gains proficiency with light armor, though his monk abilities are still affected normally by wearing armor.

Monk Advncement: Levels in Fist of the Dragon stack with monk for the purpose of advancing class features and count as effective monk levels. It does not grant new features you do not have, but pre-existing features (such as flurry of blows, speed bonus, and unarmed strike damage) are advanced.

Bonus Feat: The Fist of the Dragon gains a bonus feat at level 1 and every other level after (Level 3, 5, etc.).

Totem Dragon (Su): At 1st level, a dragon shaman chooses his totem dragon. This is the most important decision he will make; it will affect which skills he gets, as well as his draconic abilities and breath weapon. A dragon shaman must pick a dragon color that is within one alignment of his using Table: Totem Dragon.

Draconic Breath Weapon (Su): The Fist of the Dragon gains the same breath weapon as his totem dragon. As a standard action, he can use this breath weapon. Like a dragon, he must wait 1d4 rounds between each use. His breath weapon does 1d6 damage at 1st level and increases 1d6 for every level thereafter. The line breath weapon has a range of 30ft and the cone breath weapon has a range of 15ft. The Reflex DC of his breath weapon is (10+half his level+Con). At 10th level, the Fist of the Dragon uses his effective monk level instead of his Fist of the Dragon level to determine the number of dice rolled for his breath weapon. The dice rolled cannot exceed his ECL.

Draconic Might (Ex): The Fist of the Dragon adds one and a half times his Strength Mod to all attack rolls.

Scales of The Dragon (Su): The Fist of the Dragon gains +5 to his Natural Armor.

Unarmed Bonus Damage (Su): The Fist of the Dragon gains additional damage when not wielding any weapons. This bonus damage starts at 1d8 at 3rd level, then increases at every other level thereafter (2d8 at 5th level, 3d8 at 7th level, 4d8 at 9th level).

Dragon's Strike (Ex): You strike your enemies with the chutzpah of a dragon, dealing an additional 5d8 added to any damage you can deal with an unarmed attack for one round. This counts as an instant action with a cool down of 1d8 rounds

Improved Breath Range (Su):Like his totem dragon, the range of a Fist of the Dragon's breath weapon improves as he becomes stronger. At 4th level and at 8th level, the FotD's breath weapon increases in range. A line breath weapon has 60ft range at 4th level and 120ft range at 8th level. A cone breath weapon has 30ft range at 4th level and 60ft range at 8th level.

Roar of The Dragon (Su): The Fist of the Dragon lets loose a mighty roar that frightens all enemies within earshot. All enemies within earshot must make a Will Save of [10+Classlevel+1/2 of the FoTD Total BAB] or become frightened.

Mighty Breath (Su): The Fist of the Dragon may add his Fist of the Dragon level to his breath weapon's damage.

Fist of The Wyrm (Ex): The Fist of the Dragon adds double his Strength Mod to all attack rolls, this feature replaces Draconic Might.

Scales of The Wyrm (Su): The Fist of the Dragon's natural armor bonus is increased to +10.

Fist of The Great Wyrm (Ex): The Fist of the Dragon adds three times his Strength Mod to all attack rolls, this feature replaces Fist of The Wyrm.

Scales of the Great Wyrm (Su): The Fist of the Dragon gains a natural armor bonus of +15, furthermore, if the Fist of the Dragon gains the ability to add his Strength modifier to his AC, he instead adds three times his modifier.

Campaign Information[edit]

Playing a FoTD[edit]

Other Classes: Fist of the Dragons deal well with other unarmed striker classes and can benefit greatly from classes which provide dodge AC.

Combat: In combat, Fist of the Dragons smash things......

Advancement: Fist of the Dragons will only multiclass with similar unarmed striking classes.

FoTDs in the World[edit]

Organizations: Fist of the Dragons generally do not gather; except once a year to compete in a Tournament. The winner of this tournament will be renowned across the land for his strength and dragon-like ferocity.

NPC Reactions: Many taverns dislike having a Fist of the Dragon around because of the destruction that their drunken brawls can bring. Other than that, most NPC's react normally.
