Drunken Brawler[edit]

As Thokk walked into the tavern, he noticed that there was an elf sitting in his favorite chair. As he walked closer he smiled as he noticed that it had fallen asleep and was drooling on the table.

"Move it!" Thokk yelled.

The last thing he remembered was his head hitting the table and falling to the floor as the elf stood above him roaring.

Class Features[edit]

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Drunken Brawlers gain proficiency with simple and thrown weapons and light armor.

Bonus Language: Drunkard Drunken Brawlers can communicate with intoxicated people, if they know the basic language the person is speaking. For example: If there is a highly intoxicated elf, the Drunken Brawler could use Drunkard (Elven), if he would normally be able to speak Elven.

Drunken Fury: At 1st level, a Drunken Brawler, while intoxicated, throw himself into a fury. Upon failing a Fortitude save after drinking alcohol, the Brawler must make a Concentration Check (DC 20) in order to control itself or risk losing control of their body and attacking the nearest person, friend or foe. While in a Drunken Fury, the Brawler becomes illiterate, gains +2 to AC recieves a +4 to Strength and Constitution and a -2 to Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. While in Drunken Fury, the Drunken Brawler recieves a -4 to attacks except when unarmed and a -4 to all skill checks. During a Drunken Fury, a Drunken Brawler must succeed at a Balance check (DC 15) or fall prone. The Drunken Fury lasts as long as the Drunken Brawler continues failing the original with a -1 to the saving throw every 5 rounds. At the end of his Drunken Fury, the Drunken Brawler goes unconscious and must make a Fortitude save of the original saving throw to wake up.

At Home: At 1st level, a Drunken Brawler recieves a +2 to all rolls while in a tavern or inn.

Numbness: Beginning at 1st level, a Drunken Brawler recieves 1 damage reduction from physical damage, with an additional point at every 2 levels (2 damage reduction at level 3, 3 at level 5, 4 at level 7, 5 at level 9). At 10th level, Drunken Brawlers are immune to critical hits. Numbness only applies while in Drunken Rage.

Iron Stomach: At 2nd level, a Drunken Brawler recieves a +1 against ingested poisons and recieves an additional +1 per 2 levels (+2 at level 4, +3 at level 6, +4 at level 8, +5 at level 10).

Advanced Drinking: At 5th level, Drunken Brawlers gain the ability to drink two mugs of liquid at once. When figuring the saving throw, pick the drink with the highest DC as the base drink and the other as the DC modifier.

Lunge: At 6th level, a Drunken Brawler may attack an enemy up to 5 feet away but is subject to an attack of opportunity with the opponent threat range increased by one. During its attack, the Drunken Brawlers threat range is 17-20 (If the Drunken Brawlers threat range is normally wider then that, use its normal range instead). If its attack is a critical hit, the opponent is instantly grappled.

Projectile Vomiting: At 8th level, a Drunken Brawler may make a ranged attack on an opponent up to 5 feet away. Anyone hit by Projectile Vomiting must succeed at a Fortitude save (DC 15) or fall to their knees vomiting.Projectile Vomiting causes 1d4 damage to the Drunken Brawler.

Drinks, DCs, and Prices[edit]

Upon drinking, the Drunken Brawler must fail the drink's basic DC save to enter Drunken Fury. If he succeeds, he may continue drinking. With each additional drink, the Fortitude DC goes up by the drinks DC+. For example: A Drunken Brawler drinks Orcish Swill and succeeds at the Fortitude save with a 21. He then drinks some Ale. The Fortitude saving throw is now 22.
